Meghan Coleman of Toledo Serves in Haiti over Spring Break

2013 Apr 24

Meghan Coleman of Toledo spent spring break serving in Haiti as part of a mission trip taken by Ohio Christian University students with World Gospel Mission. The trip involved several building projects and ministering to local children.

The team's main ministry while in Haiti was to build a house for a family. They helped pour concrete floors and build the roof for a home. When they finished the job a day early, they went on to another job site to help build a foundation wall for a church. In addition to the work projects, the team was also able to visit an orphanage multiple times through the week. They provided toys and food, as well as just enjoying time playing with the children.
